On Sunday 25th September is this year’s date for the Brighton 100 charity bike ride with participants helping to raise vital funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Last year around 700 cyclists took part.
Riders have a choice of two circular routes of 50 or 100 miles which both start and finish in Preston Park, Brighton. Both rides enjoying both coast and beautiful countryside views while the 100 mile option also features a climb up to Beachy Head and via stunning Herstmonceux Castle.
Marie Curie Cancer Careprovides emotional and practical care and support for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Their services are always free of charge to patients and their families, which means that by taking part in this ride and raising much needed sponsorship, cyclists will help Marie Curie Nurses to continue to make a real difference to the lives of terminally ill patients across the UK.
There will be refreshment stops at regular intervals and Bike Events provide full back-up, including route-signing, marshals, medics, mechanics and support vehicles.Music and food greet the riders at the finish.
