Kite Festival 2012

Brighton Kite Festival 2012 – 7 & 8 July 2012 | Sea Breeze Bed and Breakfast Brighton

Brighton Kite Festival is a free public event not to be missed and brings some interesting shapes, sizes and colour to Stanmer Park that would not normally be seen there.

It is one, if not the longest, running kite festivals in the UK and is fast approaching its 33rd consecutive event on the 7th & 8th July 2012 in Stanmer Park, Brighton.

The Kite Festival is planning some amazing shows this year – from world class flyers to beautifully made miniature single line kites through to some of the best team displays you will ever see.

Some of the planned arena displays where kite flyers will be showing their kites include the now traditional Martin Lester Spirit kite fly, an Eddy shaped kite fly of all sizes, kite fighting both Indian and rokkaku, kites made in the children’s workshop, plus team and single flying from some of the world’s best sport kite flyers.

There will again be parking at the rear of the park rather than Sussex University. A donation for parking will be requested to help cover costs of the festival.

So come fly a kite and join the 2012 Brighton Kite Festival!
